Full Reciprocity Plan (FRP)
Effective January 1, 2015 IRP is implementing the Full Reciprocity Plan (FRP). Under FRP, prorate clients will be granted full reciprocity for all prorated vehicles in all IRP jurisdictions. This change will simplify first time registrations and renewals, making it more efficient and flexible. All member jurisdictions will now be displayed on the cab card.
Prorate clients whose registration year begins prior to January 1, 2015 would be subject to the current Plan provisions until they renew.
