Cameron Heights/Anthony Henday Drive Interchange

Construction will begin in 2010 on the Cameron Heights interchange at Anthony Henday Drive, removing the final set of traffic lights from the Edmonton Ring Road and improving traffic flow and safety for motorists. Construction on the interchange will be completed and open to traffic by fall 2011.

Updated May 2, 2011 - Construction on the Cameron Heights Drive interchange is in full swing as the project enters its final year. Bridge work continues to progress with girder installation to begin on May 2, 2011. And be completed by May 27, 2011.  During the girder erection period traffic along Anthony Henday Drive will be restricted to a single lane in each direction at Cameron Heights Drive from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Monday to Friday and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.on weekends. Earthwork operations are schedule to resume the second week of May followed by paving later this summer. Construction activities slated for 2011 also include completion of the bridge structure, installation of lighting and guide signs, as well as the removal of the existing at grade intersection. The projects is currently on schedule for fall 2011 completion.
