Highway 22X - From Deerfoot Trail to 85 Street SW

Alberta Transportation has commissioned a study to develop the long term functional plan for the south section of the Calgary Ring Road - Hwy 22X from Deerfoot Trail to west of 85 Street SW. TransTech Focus has been retained to conduct this functional planning study. The Technical Review Committee for the study includes representatives from The City of Calgary and the Municipal District of Foothills.
A final recommended plan expected to be submitted mid 2009. It will include:
Stakeholder communication is an important component of this study. Over the coming months, stakeholders, community associations, and members of the public will have opportunities to view the alternatives being considered and provide input and comments. This information will be considered by the project team as they develop the recommended corridor plan.
